Though the girls varsity cheer squad’s official season doesn’t begin until winter, the team had their first competition called Game Day where they placed 2nd  out of 6 teams in their division and 6th at the whole competition.

“I have really high hopes for the team this year,” junior Ali Marriott said. “I’m excited to see how we will do, what we can accomplish, and maybe go to sectionals.”
