In the midst of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Jewish Culture Club, in partnership with the Red Cross Club, have stepped up to raise funds for Ukrainians suffering through the crisis. The club set up a table outside of the auditorium in March, holding a silent auction in order to raise funds for humanitarian relief in Ukraine. The clubs auctioned off gift certificates to local restaurants, Starbucks gift cards, and tickets to see the school play Bright Star.

The club raised around $235, and the money raised is going to the Ukraine Red Cross .

President of the Jewish Culture Club, sophomore Elizabeth Zusin said, “I think the fundraiser was a good way to give back to Ukraine which is struggling right now and I am really grateful that so many people chose to help raise money for the Ukraine Red Cross.”
