This spring brought great success for the PMHS Boys Varsity Lacrosse team. The team finished their regular season with a record, leading them into the playoffs. The team was successful in the playoffs, advancing to the Section 1 Class C Section Finals vs Pearl River on Thursday, becoming section champions. The team then went on to the regional final on a 5 game win streak before losing to Shaker High School versus a strong Burnt Hills-Balston Lake team.

The team adopted the slogan, “Peak in May” earlier in the season, hopeful for the success that they ended up having. Although the season had its ups and downs, both members of the team and Coach Rogers had many successes. Senior Daniel Johnston was named Academic-All American. Coach Rogers was also recently recognized as Class C Coach of the Year. Will White, Daniel Johnston, Henry Moderelli, and Callum Reen were all named Section 1 Class C All Section players. Matteo Johnston, Christopher Franchini, Eric Elbery, Nicholas Loria, and Daniel Fredbeck were named All-League players.

Senior Henry Smith said, “The lacrosse season is always one to remember. As I reflect on this season, I will never forget going out to compete with my teammates everyday.”
