Irene Beldiman is a senior at Pelham Memorial High School and this is her second year on the Pel Mel. She is interested in print journalism because she loves to write and thinks it is a fun way to get involved and be a part of the school. Her favorite subjects in school are social studies and English. Irene has also participated in  varsity tennis in the Fall and track in both Fall and Winter. Irene moved to Pelham when she was four, and ever since has gotten involved in the town in many ways, and sees joining the newspaper as another way to be a part of the Pelham and school communities. Some fun facts about Irene are that she can speak Romanian fluently, her favorite T.V. show is Grey’s Anatomy, and some of her favorite places that she has traveled are Thailand and Italy.
