This season for the boys varsity basketball program is already marked with change, as Mr. Finegan has stepped down as head coach of the team and former assistant coach Mark Courtien taking over. Senior James Carey, who returned to Pelham after transferring to PMHS from Sayre School in Lexington, Kentucky, is really looking forward to this season.

“I’ve been playing with some of these guys since I was in 2nd grade and I’m looking forward to playing with them one last time and finish off all the success we have had in the past,” Carey said.

The team will begin their season on November 30 in the Irvington Tournament. PBVB’s opponents and times will be decided as the tournament approaches.
