After a disappointing season last year, the girls varsity basketball team is already making some adjustments. With ten returning players, six of whom are seniors, one key factor in having a more successful season is that the players are familiar with one another’s skills. The team is confident that if they bond the way they should, they will have a solid shot for winning the state championship.
……Senior captain Meredith Kuster said, “We know each other’s playing styles and strengths/weaknesses so we have to worry more about execution rather than technicalities.”
…..The girls varsity basketball season will kick off with a home game on December 5 against Gorton High School.
