In May of 2018, a capital improvement bond for three million dollars was approved by the voters of Pelham for the construction of a turf baseball field and new tennis courts at the Glover complex. Plans were handed over to the Board of Education in the spring of 2019, and approved weeks later. The project was sent out to competitive bidders, and a vendor was selected by the board to carry out the project.

Construction at the Glover complex began in late July as planned, and has remained on schedule.

The construction of both the field and tennis courts have prevented the girls varsity and junior varsity tennis teams from practicing at these locations. The Tennis teams have been practicing at the Pelham Country Club courts. The courts are planned to be finished in time for the boys tennis team’s season in the spring of 2020, but construction will be affected periodically by the weather.
