The girls basketball team is back and ready for another great season. The team is largely made up of the same players as last year, only graduating four seniors, one of which was a starter. The team is led by senior captains Katie Prisco, Allie Prisco, and Grace Dunhill as well as Coach Timothy Pitrulle. The starting five is made up of Grace Dunhill, Taylor Green, Allie Prisco, Katie Prisco, and Mia Orlando.

“A goal I have for the team this year is to make each other better and build off of each game,” said Katie Prisco.

“They won their first game against John Jay 62-42. Katie Prisco was announced Player of the Day for November 7 by LoHud, after she scored 25 points in the game. The team’s next game is December 27 against Poughkeepsie.

“We have a lot of room to grow, and I am confident we can be a powerhouse by the end of the season,” said Prisco.
