The new season of Rainbow Six Siege changes up a lot of the way players currently were playing the game in the last season. The shield rework is finally done and was released with the new year of the game the developers of the game decided to remove the famous 1.5x and 2.0x scopes and changing the housing of the 1.5x zoom to a 2.5x zoom and the 2.0x housing to a 3.5x zoom making the game feel like it did in its earlier days. With operation Deadly Omen there was also the new release of the brand new operator on the attacking side Demios. He is considered a very powerful operator in the right hands because of what his gadget does for every defender that is identified Demios has the ability to track that individual and have a live ping of where they are for a short period of time. The only downside of the gadget is that the defender you are tracking will be able to see your location too but it is not as accurate as it would be for Demios. This makes him a very effective roam clearer operator which was the meta of last season. Currently a lot of people love the state of the game right now and feel like the game is more fun right now then it has been in the last few seasons. Ubisoft has also improved their anti-cheating system for the game and it has been a success in banning more and more cheaters from last season. It made the game less stressful because cheaters aren’t in games as often now as last season. The shields were quickly nerfed after the rework was introduced because of the shields being so powerful it is now possible to shoot every shield operator in the feet even if they are crouching walking with their shields in front of them. This new year for the game has a lot of potential and more changes will happen as the game continues to go on and for the road map of year nine there will be a lot of changes for the upcoming seasons such as a rework for 2 operators and a brand new operator next season. There was a rework on a defender operator who was widely considered the best defending  operator Azami as of now her kiba barriers are able to be destroyed by using bullets now she is still considered a very powerful operator but isn’t too good where attacking makes it difficult. They had added a new section into the main menu which was the locker. The whole purpose of it is to see all of the cosmetics you have and have recently gotten. It makes sorting out what you have easier than before it manages everything from alpha packs to weapon skins as well as appearances etc. Most players are getting used to the different changes that came with the new year for Rainbow Six Siege but it is coming out successful for the most part currently.
