Pelham Boys Cross Country traveled to Edgemont High School today and won the League Championship against Rye, Eastchester, and Edgemont. The Pelham team won by more than two times the points of the second-place team, Eastchester.
Elliot Levine led the Pelham team, in which he took home the individual league title. Julian Kaleoff came in second place, and George Negrin came in fourth place. Kyle Matyko and Finnegan Mullen came in ninth and tenth place, respectively, which solidified the victory for the Pelham Boys’ Cross-Country team.
The Boys Cross Country program has won their second straight league title and this year it was in dominating fashion. The program has had many second-place victories before winning a year ago, but now the team has become a dominant force and has put all cross-country teams in Section 1 on notice.
