The Pelham Varsity Cross Country season has begun and the team has found success in their recent meets. The boys team is led by Elliott Levine, George Negrin, and Julian Kalehoff and the girls team by Serafina Lavallee, Sonia Brown and Venice Mancuso.
At Edgemont High School, the boys won the League Championship again after winning it last year. The team had a dominant performance with Elliot Levine winning the race, and the team beating second place Eastchester High School by 28 points. The girls team also had a great race being runners up to Eastchester. The team was led by Riley Campbell who finished second in the race. The team is excited for the County Championship in two weeks and the Sectional Championship.
