The Boys’ Golf team, coached under Mark Finegan, finished their regular season with a winning 10-8 record. This is an improvement over last season, with the team having mostly a new look with many seniors graduating from the team last year. The team did not qualify for the team playoffs, although sophomore Eamon Brennan qualified for the individual playoffs. Brennan qualified for sectionals, which is the top 60 players. The top 30 out of those 60 made it to a second round, and the top 9 out of that group made it to states. Brennan commented, “It was a great season, and we improved our record despite having a whole new looking team.” Senior Captain Ryan Lacilla commented, “Playing with these young guys, it was almost a whole new team and it was cool to watch them grow and develop throughout the year, and I know they will do that next year after I graduate.“  The team hopes to continue its strong season into next season on a high with young players such as Brennan looking to contribute next year.
