Male Athlete of the Issue

Jayson Reynolds, Senior

After a successful varsity football season, where he made a huge contribution to the football team, putting up 300 receiving yards with 4 touchdowns, junior Harry Ravitz shifted gears to prepare for an important varsity basketball season. Ravitz has played three varsity seasons, starting at the varsity level in freshman year, and has consistently showcased his athleticism in a big way.

“Along with being a great athlete, Harry is a very hard worker who has led by example and earned the right to be a captain for the 2018-19 season,” Varsity Coach Artie Viggiano said . “I believe he will be one of the best wide receivers in the league.”

Now in his basketball season, Ravitz looks to make as big an impact on the court. Ravitz’ nifty handles and eye for the sport have helped him average 13.6 points per game so far.

Displaying outstanding effort and skill during these last two seasons, Ravitz made the perfect fit for this issue’s male athlete.
