2nd Annual Field Fest to Rock Pelham on May 19

Katy Hart, Junior

The second annual Field Fest music festival arrives this year on Saturday, May 19 from 3-6pm on Ingalls field. A $5 entrance fee gives attendees live music from teenage artists, food from nearby restaurants, and many popular games. Last year’s success prompted the decision to continue the festival this year.

This year’s music lineup includes student bands such as Peak Foliage, Radio Waves, Bandanas, Afterburner, Berlin Express and the Salama Brothers with anticipated performances by PMHS alumni Carter Brady and Anna Comerford.

Similar to last year, Field Fest will have various games including Spike Ball, Kan Jam, Four Square in the Air, soccer, and frisbee. Walter’s Hot Dog Truck will make an appearance, and cotton candy, popcorn and baked goods will be sold.

Field Fest is organized by Pelham Loft, a nonprofit organization led by teens. Advised by Pelham PACT, Pelham Loft is dedicated to organizing substance free events teens want to attend.

Pelham Loft events not only encourage Pelham teens to live a substance free lifestyle, but also provides alternate ways to socialize that are safe and healthy.
