Junior Lucy Conway has made huge contributions to PMHS athletics all year, as she is involved in three varsity sports: field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse. This spring season, Conway has proven to be a force on the lacrosse field. She is considered to be the teams “go-to”, as she holds an immense midfield presence. After reaching historic feats such as her 100 point milestone against Sleepy Hollow, Conway began to catch the attention she deserves from many across the section.

This is Conway’s third season playing on the varsity lacrosse squad. Each year she has been a crucial part of the team. Last season, she notably made Girls Lacrosse Honorable Mention List of Journal News/Lohud.com. Conway’s combination of skill and experience has established her as a leader and role model for her teammates. The captain’s reign continues as she has put up big numbers in some key games this season, netting eight goals against Irvington and five against Nyack.

“This season I’ve enjoyed being with our team. It’s a really fun group of girls and I’m looking forward to see where playoff takes us together,” Lucy Conway said.

As an extremely successful athlete and leader, Conway will hopefully help lead the girls lacrosse team to their first Section Championship. As the quest for playoffs continues, Conway continues to shine and support the teammates around her.
