Boys Basketball

The boys basketball season has gotten off to a slow start, as the team sits at a 5-8 record. During the Irvington Invitational, Mark Courtein picked up his first two wins as Pelham’s head coach, as Pelham beat Ardsley and Dobbs Ferry to win the tournament. The team has been led by senior captains Harry Ravitz, James Carey, and Kevin Coleman, and received a key boost from sophomore Stef Grammatica. Their season has included promising wins over opponents like Rye and Ramapo.

“We got off to a rough start, but we just got a big league win and we hope to continue the hard work throughout our league play,” senior Grey Allen said.

Despite a disappointing record, the boys basketball team will look to build off key league wins down the stretch.
