Four Qualify for National Speech Tournament
Sophomore Isaac Blackburn, junior Henry Driesen, sophomore Rebecca Jacobson and junior Nick Lieggi will represent the district at the NSDA National Tournament in Dallas.

At the Regional Qualifier held on September 2 at Pelham Memorial High School, the following pelicans earned slots to the NSDA National Championships to be held in Dallas, Texas in June. They are:
Rebecca Jacobson, 2nd place in Programmed Oral Interpretation
Henry Driesen, 2nd place in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking
Nicholas Lieggi, 2nd place in Congressional Debate
Isaac Blackburn, 1st place in Congressional Debate
PMHS also won the Congressional Debate Sweepstakes award
The students competed against speakers from about fifteen schools in a district ranging from the Bronx all the way up to Albany.
