After a successful season last year, the boys varsity golf team has a current record of 2-1. Head coach Mr. Roksvold leads the team along with captains Kieran Gilchrist, senior, and Aidan Bennett, junior. The boys also rely on key contributions from senior Jack Morrell and freshman Eric Soderberg.

“My expectations for the team are the same every year,” Roksvold said. “I want the athletes to compete and get better as there is no place to hide on the golf course.”

“While we lost some key players last year, we are looking to compete with the top teams and get the team back to the playoffs after just missing them last year,” Gilchrist said. “If we get more consistent than we were last year and play better towards the end of the year we have a great shot at making the playoffs.” The boys will look to build off wins over Fox Lane and New Rochelle.
