The Pelham varsity girls lacrosse team is looking stronger than ever this season. With many returning members of the squad from last season, the girls are ready to take on Section One. The team is led by senior captains Lucy Conway, Madelyn Dunbar, and Claudia Dodge, who is committed to play lacrosse at Babson College. These veterans welcomed new head coach Kaleigh Howe. The team scrimmaged Hackley and Rye Neck, winning both with convincing results and showing they are a force to be reckoned with.

“This year we have a strong, close team so we are going to have a really great season,” senior defender Helena White said.

The team started off the season 6-0 with big wins over Somers (14-10), Horace Greeley (16-5), Pearl River (19-4), New Rochelle (16-1), Nanuet (14-6) and Hendrick Hudson (11-9)
