After a successful 12-8 record last year culminating in a playoff run, the girls varsity basketball team is ready for another season as they welcome new assistant coach Mr. Finegan. Last year the team made it to the first round of the playoffs, and this year they are hoping to replicate the same success and make it even farther. The girls team played their opening game on December 4 against Walter Panas High School and won 41-26.

“I’m really excited about the season. We have a great group of girls and I have confidence we’ll be successful this season,” junior Brooke Gates said.
