The boys varsity basketball team returns to the court ready for another year after a season that ended with a first-round playoff exit, and an 8-13 regular-season record. The team is hopeful for a bounce-back year with late-round playoff aspirations in mind. The boys basketball team played their opening game against Peekskill High School on December 3 with a tough 66-64 defeat.

“This year I think we have the potential to win some big games. We have a bunch of returners and even a couple guys that didn’t play last year that can definitely help us out,” junior Stefano Grammatica said.
