International Dinner To Be Rescheduled

The World Language Dinner has been an annual fall tradition for several years. The event celebrates a variety of cultural backgrounds through cuisine and live performances  provided by the different language classes at the school. However, this year, the World Language Dinner was unexpectedly canceled.

This is the first time that the dinner had to be rescheduled due to a combination of scheduling issues and waning student interest.

Spanish teacher Mrs. Guzman said, “We got a low turnout of students who wanted to come to the International Dinner and I think a lot of expressed interest might have had to do with the way the holidays and vacation times fell.”

Nevertheless, the world language department aims to reschedule the event for the spring, when student availability and the school calendar will hopefully align a little better.
