For over 20 years Nancy’s Ice Cream Truck roamed the streets of Pelham. Always at sporting events and school festivities, it was an essential part of the Pelham community. After taking a hiatus last year, Nancy’s truck is back in business to carry on the joy

Now run by Pelham Together, it has taken on the new name of “Pelicones.”After renovating the truck and making sure its parts were up to date, the iconic vehicle was able to get back into action. Making its debut for the first time at the local farmers market in June, the truck is carrying on Nancy’s legacy. Employing PMHS students from PMHS, the ice cream truck has been making pop up appearances throughout the town. The mobile ice cream truck can be booked through the Pelham Together website for any event with party packages included.

With the truck now run by high school students, the bliss of the ice cream bells can be shared from one generation to another. Junior Thomas Shelton joined the Pelicone team this summer when the business began.

Shelton said, “It’s been really fun working the truck this summer. I always got ice cream from Nancy as a kid and it’s been a great way to give back to the community”.
