This year in high school athletics has been unlike any other, from seasons getting pushed back or even canceled to banning spectators from games. However, the boys varsity Soccer team was able to make it their season happen this year. Despite the hindrance of a positive COVID-19 test over on the Rye boys varsity Soccer team, the Pelham boys Soccer team were able to quarantine for a week and a half and come back to face off against Scarsdale in the playoffs.

Although the boys put up a fight, the game ended in a disappointing Scarsdale win with a 3-0 score. The week and a half off from their usual practices did not work in their favor, and became a key factor in the loss to Scarsdale.

Senior varsity player Gavin Fear said, “I am truly thankful that we had a season. Even though the final result was a bit disappointing I can confidently say we had a great season, and I wish the juniors good luck next year.”
