There is nothing like baking to get you in the holiday spirit. Not only does it fill your house with the warm smell of delicious treats and allow for some family time, but it also provides an easy and meaningful gift idea. As I am not the strongest baker (or dish-doer), I decided to try out this no-bake cake pop recipe.

Supplies:

  • One pack of oreos (I used hot cocoa flavored)
  • 1 pack of candy melts (any color you wish!)
  • One pack of cream cheese
  • Sprinkles of your choice
  • Cuisinart/blender
  • Baking pan
  • Wax paper
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions:

  • Take one pack of candy-cane Oreos (or any flavor for that matter!) and blend in a Cuisinart or normal blender until combined completely
  • Add in 8 ounces of cream cheese– blend completely
  • Roll balls with an around one-inch diameter
  • Place onto a baking sheet with wax paper→ place in the freezer for 10+ minutes!
  • As the “dough” cools follow the instructions on the candy melts packaging (depends what brand– I thinned mine with vegetable oil)
  • Once melted, take out the cooled dough-balls, poking each with a lollipop stick and covering in the candy melts
  • Roll in sprinkles of your choice before the candy melts harden!
  • Voila! Oven-free, minimal mess festive treats:)
