The PMHS Breast Cancer Awareness Club is hosting a kickball tournament open to anyone in the high school. The tournament will take place on Saturday, May 15, 2020, at 10 a.m. on Ingalls Field (rain date May 22). According to club Co-President Cristina Stefanizzi, the club is working with Real Kids Wear Pink to raise money to be donated to the American Cancer Society for cancer research and to provide support for people with breast cancer.

Teams can sign up outside the auditorium any day this week, and a Google Form is also available on the PMHS school website under announcements or on the club’s Instagram bio (@pmhs.breastcancer.awareness). Teams can be made up of six to eight players, and according to club Co-President Maddy Finster, the competition will be mainly about spirit. There will be t-shirt prizes for the most creative team name and team costumes.

“We are doing this to raise money for breast cancer research, and to get everyone outside together!” Finster said.
