This fall, the school welcomes Mrs. Margaret Ellis to join the guidance department as a new replacement for Mrs. Archer. Ellis brings 13 years of counseling experience with her from her time as a school counselor at Peekskill High School, and at Cardinal Spellman High School before that. She also worked in college athletics at Fordham University with the Mens Basketball Program as their director of operations prior to her start in counseling. 

“I made history being the only full time woman on a Division I men’s basketball team,” Ellis said, “It was a great experience and helped enhance my ability to get students ready for college.”

This year Ellis is excited to see the hallways filled with students again and for students to be able to participate in their sports and clubs.

“Living within walking distance to Pelham, I have always known the strong caliber of excellence the town instills in their school district and I wanted to be a part of that excellence,” said Ellis. “The counseling department always kept up-to-date information on their website that I used as a reference to confirm happenings in the counseling world for our students.”
