Girls Basketball Makes a Mark
March 12, 2022
The girls basketball season came to a close and, after a season of close and hard games, they finished with a record of 9-13.
Girls head varsity coach, Timothy Pitrulle said, “This season has certainly been challenging. The constant changing regulations revolving around the global pandemic have only added to the already rigorous demands of a season that stretches from November 15 through February 17 at the minimum. The one saving grace has been the players. They have been resilient and steadfast in their resolve to get better. Our record is not an accurate indication of how talented and hard-working this group is. We preach family here and the group of fourteen has remained strong. It would have been easy for one or more to just give up in the face of all of these burdens, but none have. Their resolve and pride shine through.”
