Chinemere Njoku

Chinemere Njoku, Associate Editor In-Chief, Senior

Chinemere Njoku is a senior in her third year at The Pel Mel. She was born in New York, moved to Virginia, and moved to Pelham at 15 in her sophomore year. She has been the photo editor for two years on the paper and has recently become Associate Editor and Chief. She joined the paper because she loves journalism and writing. Chinny rows for Row America Rye, an avid runner, is the co-founder and president of the Film Club, a member of the Animal Welfare Club, Ocean Conservation, and an honorary photographer along with other classmates of school events. She loves to cook, create films, cinematography, design, nature, directing, working out, traveling, and screenwriting. She plans to row in college, for the next four years in college. Chinemere is looking forward to the summer since she loves the beach and the sun and another great year with The Pel Mel!
