The girls lacrosse season is underway, led by team captains Tessa Loria, Olivia Orlando, Eileen Mazzaro, and Stella Schlumbom, all seniors. The team currently has a record of 7-7. …..

Captain Tessa Loria said, “I think everyone was a little nervous at first given we have such a young team, but we definitely have the talent and are hopeful for the rest of the season.”

On April 5, the team played Nyack. They were down by one point in the last four minutes of the game, but managed to tie the score up and go on to a 13-12 win, scoring in the final 20 seconds.

Orlando said, “If we work as a team and play with a mentality that we can win it all, we can do it.”
