The victors of the Dodgeball tournament helped raise $2,500 to fight ALS.

The ALS Dodgeball Tournament took place on May 28. People across Pelham gathered in the Middle School Gym to raise money for the Anthony Senerchia Jr. Foundation. The total amount raised was $2,500. The winning team was a mix of PMHS students including: senior Matthew Catalanotto, sophomore Ryan McGovern, juniors Callum Reen, Christopher Romano, and Luke Green, and alum Nick Milanese. Teams varied from students, alumni, sports teams, and local professionals.

“The ALS Dodgeball tournament was a really fun event, but it was also very important, with an amazing cause: fighting ALS,” Luke Green said.

The Anthony Senerchia Jr. ALS Charitable Foundation is a nonprofit organization based right here in Pelham, New York. They hold many events to raise awareness, and money to fund ALS research, and to support families affected by the disease.

On July 28 the foundation will hold a softball game on Glover Field for the cause, and it’s sure to be another hit for the Pelham community.
