…The Boys’ Swimming season has begun, led by Captains Bobby Langerfeld and Gianluca Polenzani. The team’s first meet took place on Monday, December 2nd at Sarah Lawrence College, competing against Arlington and Eastchester. The team’s second meet was on Wednesday December 4th, against a combined New Rochelle and Bronxville team. The team finished last the first two meets, but their early results should not be overlooked, at the time of this article, the team bounced back by winning their first meet vs Yorktown on December 6, improving to a 1-2 record to start the season. In their next meet against Lakland, the team drew in an 85-85 tie. There were several impressive swims of the meet, including first place finishes for the 200 yard medley, Senior Christopher Miklitsch in the 200 yard freestyle, and 100 yard butterfly, Bobby Langerfeld in the 100 yard freestyle, the 200 freestyle relay, and the 400 and hundred freestyle relay. In their next meet against Rye Neck, the team won in dominating fashion, placing top 3 in nearly every event to improve to 2-3-1.

…The next swim meet is a home matchup against Harrison, and they have been working very hard as of late in order to have their best possible performance in their next meet and improve upon their early 2-3-1 record.
