Following his successful varsity soccer season, junior Grey Allen now takes on the upcoming varsity basketball season. Allen, who has been on three varsity teams since sophomore year, is PMHS’ poster boy for athleticism. Netting a goal and four assists, as well as being a brick wall on defense, Allen contributed exceptionally to the quarterfinal playoff run the soccer Pelicans made this past October. His agility, speed and craftiness made an electric presence on the field this season.

“A naturally gifted athlete with lightning fast quickness, soccer ‘smarts’ and speed, Grey evolved during our season to become the centerpiece of our defense,” said Mr. Huvane, the boys varsity soccer coach. “Next year, there are high expectations for him and the rest of the returning soccer seniors.”

Now in his basketball season, Allen looks to make an impact on the court this season. With a fresh season ahead of him, Allen’s nifty handles and eye for the game are projected to have a sure positive impact on the team’s success.

Showcasing his athletic talents during all three seasons, Allen made the perfect fit for this issue’s male athlete.
