The Boys Pelham Varsity Hockey team ended after their first playoff game. The playoff game at home against Byram Hills featured a strong beginning, but didn’t maintain the rest of the game. They started off with a 2 point lead, but Byram Hills ended up overtaking with a final score of 5-2. But they tried to stay positive during both highs and lows, and especially after widely considered poor officiating by referees.
With all senior captains Matthew Veteri, Reeve Murrell, and Camden White, they led an exceptional season with a record of 14 wins, 4 ties, and 3 losses. Their biggest wins were at Skaneateles with a score of 4-2, against Mamaroneck with a score of 11-2 and 27 saves by Camden, and against River Town with a score of 5-2 and 3-2.
